Shelley Carman is a registered psychiatric nurse and senior mental-health clinician based in Victoria, integrating nearly two decades of clinical expertise with somatic and breath-centred therapeutic approaches.
Alongside Shelley’s work in emergency and acute mental-health settings, they are an active Breathwork facilitator within the 9D Breathwork community12. Shelley offers guided breathwork sessions for groups, couples and individuals, creating safe, intentional spaces for emotional release, clarity and deeper self-connection.
Their breathwork practice focuses on using conscious breath patterns to calm the nervous system, clear mental noise and support the body’s natural capacity for balance and wellbeing.
With a background that includes a Deakin University scholarship and professional training spanning dementia care, foundational massage therapy and holistic personal development, Shelley blends evidence-based mental-health care with integrative wellness modalities.
This combined approach helps clients experience grounded psychological support alongside somatic tools that promote inner stability, emotional regulation and whole-body wellness.
Outside clinical work, Shelley enjoys yoga, meditation, breathwork, nature and ongoing learning—practices that continually enrich their therapeutic presence.
